Driver must be 19+ years old, with driver’s license held for minimum 12 months, for car groups A, B, C and 23+ years old, with 24 months driving license, for all other car groups. There is no extra charge for young drivers between 21 and 23 years old, but the rental is limited in the first three car categories (A, B and C).

All cars include Basic Package (CDW) insurance which come with a guarantee granted on a valid credit card on the drivers name. Optional you can choose throughout your booking to add the Premium Package (FDW) insurance which eliminates your excess to 0, and therefore NO DEPOSIT is required on a credit card. Any kind of insurance does not cover in any case damages caused on the undercar,windows,glasses and tires of the vhicle.

Complete the personal details form in STEP 4 by entering your name, country, mobile phone number, and email address. - If your pickup location is the airport or port, be sure to include your flight number or boat name along with the exact arrival time. - If your pickup location is a hotel or apartment plesase fill the hotel name or apartment address in the box “Hotel/ pick up drop off Location” After finalizing your booking, you will receive a printable voucher via email.

There is no cancellation fee. We kindly ask in this case to be informed 48 hours prior the booking time.

No, your reservation will stand, and it’s best to notify us about the delay. However, if the service is provided out of the operating hours due to the delay, an additional fee of 20 euros will be added to the final amount.

Your delay without any extra charge is up to 1 hour from the time you have selected to drop off.

All rentals are to be paid on the day of car pick-up, unless the reservations department provides different instructions

All drivers are required to present a valid EU driving license or an international license (for non-EU drivers), along with a valid ID card or passport. A credit card in the driver's name is also necessary.

As with all car rental companies, the car models shown are for reference only. Your reservation guarantees a car category, not a specific model.

If you experience a breakdown or an accident, please contact Carera central station at +30 28970 22794. All necessary contact details will be given to you on the first day of your rental. Clearly describe the issue to our representative, and assistance will be dispatched to your location as soon as possible. Stay near your vehicle until help arrives. If the issue cannot be resolved on-site, a replacement vehicle will be arranged for you.

You must contact directly the number given to you for emergency and our representatives will make sure for your replacement. Car key loss is not included in any kind of insurance and must be refunded by the leasor.

All vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pick-up. If the renter returns the car with more fuel, the cost of the extra fuel will not be reimbursed.

Driving the rented vehicle outside the island of Crete is prohibited.
